Potomac are the PORPOISES not the Dolphins!!! Everyone always makes that mistake and it drives Potomac crazy!
and since potomac are the porpoises, along with palisades, that means that there are 11 teams with dolphin mascots and 2 teams (PO, PA) that have the porpoise, which is incidentally MUCH cooler than the dolphin
Well, porpoise is certainly more alliterative, so I'm delighted I was wrong about your aquatic mascot. Many apologies! Now, can you tell us how to distinguish between a dolphin and a porpoise should we happen to encounter one in the wild?
I have no idea if this is true or not but at Potomac we always said that a porpoise was basically a dolphin with much sharper teeth that eats dolphins
LOL! I love it, though I do have trouble picturing a vicious porpoise.
